  Caught at the London Film Festival. Universally funny. 30 something blokes chatting entertaining rubbish in an Ibizan villa for 80 minutes. Computer games, DVD's, being gay, food, teenage crushes... Fantastically natural, true and funny could be as inspiring to potential filmmakers as Clerks and Slacker were. It was made by a bunch of mates in one of their relatives villa while all were between projects. Apparently: Filming costs €600, total costs €60,000. Didn't have a UK distributor at festival but surely it will be picked up, forget frat boy comedies this is one that people will find funny without farting gags and breasts being revealed. Apparently a sequel is one the way where the guys head to the beach.

  I loved this movie!! It's two guys hanging out and having a conversation about nothing, on the wonderful white isle of Ibiza. Maybe it brings back fond memories of many days in summer spent doing the exact same thing. The pace of this movie made me feel like i was there, just hanging out with the characters. The movie is one long, uninterrupted conversation, the kind you have with your best friends, just going whith the flow. It's like a warm blankie on a cold day, or in this case, would it be a cool drink of water on a hot summer's day? Whatever the cliché, this movie brought a big smile to my face. I hope they do the sequel, i'll be the first to buy a ticket. I highly recommend seeing this movie.

  Isolated is the kind of film that redefines the term 'independent'. Shot on a pittance in Ibiza, it's a brutally funny tale of lads behaving badly in a holiday paradise.(...) Their conversations, ranging from Iranian cinema to blow-jobs, with regular commentaries on Jean's dishes thrown in for good measure, are blisteringly amusing. Rehearsed for two months but shot over six days, this is a sharp, sassy feature with attitude and humor that provides an alternative take on Ibiza and a quirky twist on the familiar tale of men putting the world to rights with ready supplies of beer to fuel their animated dialog. • The raw side of Ibiza

  Three guys in a villa, two of which talk about - so to speak - cualquiera... and no, I don't mean the director's first movie, which is entitled just that!!!... I mean, two guys talking about anything and fundamentally nothing... no smashed windows, no flying with super-velocity, no confrontations with 100 opponents... just a real day, in the lives of two real people. It sure has something in common with "Clerks", but I must say that the actors play so genuinely, so truly, with none of those theatrical accents the guys in Clerks sometimes have, that it's easy to presume you're actually with them... (there's always THAT geek in the group who does nothing else but laugh... and that's who you end up being!... They might be bored, but you're having a ball!!!) The topics of discussion are clearly universal: Computer games, DVD's, "what if you were gay", food, teenage crushes, which films get awards in festivals... the french (any kind of publicity is good publicity!)... It's delightful to watch, even if you aren't at all familiar with the Ibiza environment. But if you are, don't expect glamorous villas, curvy chicks in Burberry bikini and outrageous yachts!... Maybe in Aislados part two, since word has it there's going to be one!
