Haruhi Fujioka (Haruna Kawaguchi) is a female high school student the prestigious Ouran Academy. Unlike most of the students who come from wealthy families, Haruhi Fujioka comes from a modest family background and entered the school with an academic scholarship. One day, she wanders around the campus and stumbles by accident into the school's "host club". The host club consists of six handsome male students who entertain female students. In the room, Haruhi unintentionally breaks an antique vase worth 8 million YEN. To repay for the broken vase, the six male members of the host club makes Haruhi join them - not realizing that Haruhi is actually a girl.

Good Enough
Ouran High School Host Club the movie was just so so. I still found the same let downs as I did with the drama : too closely to an anime, overracting, idiotic scenes (but not that many), crazy characters that promised a more in depth exploration of their personality and past, which never happened etc However, this one also had a really odd conclusion to the love story. One thing that I liked in the drama was the love triangle. Here, however, the love triangle was weak and the love story didn't have a nice, satisfying ending. There were some things that I did enjoy however: Nichkhun's cameo, Chiba's character, the sport festival and the way the hosting club teamed up and competed. I also liked the leading lady, the most reasonable character. So, five out of ten.
Great movie!
This movie really is a great followup to the Dramaseries. Even if you haven't seen the Dramaserie, but only the Anime, I can also tell you to watch this movie. It is best to have seen either one of them or you would not understand some important parts of the movie. In my opinion, it's not fair that the movie has a 5,8 (at this current moment) because the movie is really good. The movie is not the same as the Anime and Dramaserie. Therefore it is nice to watch this one too. **SPOILERALERT** In this movie a competition will be held between the different clubs, of course the Host Club enters too. Will they make it or not? See it yourself by watching this great movie!
