testing, 1 2, testing, 3 3
i enjoyed this movie - the storyline, simple enough, unravelled satisfyingly at a nice easy pace; the acting was understatedly sincere, the characters authentic seeming. intelligent with a strong ending (so many films these days have terrible endings that ruin the rest of the picture). i would definitely recommend it if you seek an alternative to hollywood films or teen grunge horror flicks.
Wow
This film is Amazing and is overlooked as many people haven't' heard of it This is definitely a hidden gem. This is one of the best films I've seen in years and should be seen by all. 9/10 by far and it didn't score perfect only because I didn't hear of it sooner If you haven't seen it you must! If you have seen it and didn't know what to think, re-watch it! If you don't like this film, you're mad and need to watch this film again as it's brilliant If you have comments/questions for me don't hesitate to contact me Again, see this film as you will highly enjoy yourself
Left wandering the secondary roads...
This story of murder in a small town delivered far less than it promised. The write clearly has a strong feeling for character development, but left left all but the hapless Hap remarkably unresolved by the conclusion. I'm not suggesting it needed a tidy conclusion (in fact, I'm grateful it wasn't offered), but perhaps doing more with fewer plotlines would have made Interstate 84 into an immensely more enjoyable trip down the Hudson.
Fragmented, unfocused, disappointing .......
Kevin Dillon is only one of several suspects in this "who done it?" A body is found floating in the river. The next 90 minutes is a severely disjointed look at who might have done it, but there really doesn't seem to be a logical motive for anybody to kill the victim. The film fails to hold interest, and in fact is a chore to sit through, because of the lack of focus. Indeed, a couple annoying scenes are purposely shot out of focus. There is also some kind of redemption, religious message, throughout the movie that seems to go nowhere. The acting is OK, character development only fair, and the script feels underdeveloped. "Interstate 84" is not one I can recommend, even for Kevin Dillon fans. - MERK
