It is an amazing movie !!!
I just saw it today in theater. The movie is so good. At first, I thought it was gonna be so scary or so depressing because it was about the real life executioner and his job in the prison but the story was very well narrated and well-put together. It emphasized on the mentality of the main character than those prisoners who were executed by him.I am very very impressed indeed.Though the movie didn't look like it was on a big budget, the movie editing and story-telling was quite smooth. I didn't like the camera angle and how the movie started at the first few minutes but toward the ending, I grew to love it and I even cried at the end. His job might be judged by many people as cruel but he was a man of a righteous mind and the movie did well at showing that to the audience. I could relate many scenes to the news I had heard before in my life especially the prison riot one. I was surprised to see the director's name to be a foreigner. There were many scenes that involved western culture but it was still okay.All in all, I am very impressed by the movie. A good Thai movie is very rare but this one is a very well-executed one.
