The Wrong Babysitter (2017) Reviews
Was this a student film?
The characters were so poorly scripted even the daughter had to wear a cap with "teen angst" embroidered on it. Everything about it was amateurish. Who funded this garbage?
Terrible Screenplay
Do NOT ignore the low ratings like one reviewer suggested. Instead, ignore the two reviews that gave it a five-star rating. This movie comes close to being the all-time worst movie I ever saw. One gets the impression that the actors could have done a decent job if they had just been given something to work with. Instead, they were given lines that nobody would say in real life and situations to act out that were totally stupid. If you are no more than 15 years old, it might be entertaining. I got the impression that the screenwriter must have been about that age.
3 for Finishing
I give it a 3 because I finished it. I don't know how I finished it either. It was part comedy, poor acting all around, poor script. It felt like some trust fund baby was bored in his room and decided he would make a movie and this is the result.
worse than my junior school play....
What a bloody mess. When I was young and in junior school, we acted out plays better than this. I love a daytime movie but this is seriously bad. Actually worse than bad. Avoid.
Some of the worst acting I've seen.
The movie generic, dry. No substance at all. The actors may have well been taking classes for drama. This was predictable, beyond unbelievable. The mother's reaction to her daughter's disappearance was so dry...I needed water. Terrible.
