One night Delphine dares to say in front of two of her colleagues that she has an affair with her boss. In 24 hours, the rumor goes around the box. She put herself in an untenable situation. Especially since the boss, a handsome man, married, father, has never heard of her - What's more, he already lives a torrid affair with a flamboyant mistress, in secret. If the rumor reaches him, she will inevitably get fired - To get out of this bad situation, she appeals to her two best friends, Cathy and Manon, who will develop with her more fanciful and extravagant stratagems. Various misunderstandings follow one another at a frantic pace to see Delphine gradually metamorphose, lose his incorrigible clumsiness and against all odds finally find the soul mate .

Com' on,Pierre Arditi!
Pierre Arditi is a very talented actor ,but the dearth of good parts in the contemporary French cinema often makes him work on stage.He resembles Serge Reggiani and the directors could use him with decent material. Such is not the case with this turkey ! What can he do with the following script? A young woman,who works in an advertising agency .During a cocktail,she cannot tell her friends she 's got no lover ,so she tells them she's the boss's mistress.The following day,as these good friends cannot keep a secret ,everybody's around her ,preparing her coffee or asking for a promotion.Anyway,in this enterprise,nobody seems to work and all the conversations revolve around sex with a lot of dirty words at that.This is a crude movie. Get Billy Wilder's "the apartment" instead!Or even the unpretentious little French comedy "La Doublure" .... Wake up,Mister Arditi ,and give us something worthwhile!
Office Farce
Office farce has had better treatments, such as Le Placard and l'Antidote but Tu peux garder un Secret is fairly amusing with some good acting in the form of Pierre Arditi and Juliette Arnaud. Who hasn't had the experience of telling a confidence to someone only to have it spread like wildfire around the who office. In Arnard's case it is a rash confession that she is sleeping with the boss, which she isn't. He's sleeping with someone else... Linda Hardy... who is still pretty fit 16 years after winning Miss France. The advertising agency Arditi runs reminds me of Parisien BCBG workplaces (yes I've worked in offices overlooking the Eiffel Tower). The film doesn't require a lot of attention to watch, ideal fodder after a hard day in the office.
