Out to avenge his father`s murder is Vijay (Pugazh), who works as a police officer by day. His father, Major Saravanan had been killed 20 years ago and Vijay takes it upon himself to locate the killers and bring justice. But as fate has it, one of the killers happens to be the father of his sweetheart (Nayantara). What Vijay does later forms the crux of the story.
